Bond denied Ala. man in shooting death

PASCAGOULA (AP) — An Alabama man has been denied bond on a charge of murder in the shooting death of 28-year-old Steven Fairly of Vancleave.

Jackson County Court Judge T. Larry Wilson on Monday denied bond for 29-year-old Casey Dwayne Hall of a Grand Bay, Ala.

Jackson County sheriff's investigators arrested Hall on Saturday.

The shooting happened at the home of Regina Hall, Casey Hall's ex-wife.

Sheriff Mike Byrd said Regina Hall had been in a relationship with Fairley but the two had broken up, and Casey Hall had apparently gotten back together with his wife.

Hall was being held in the county jail. Byrd says the investigation is continuing.
