The Laurel Police Department reported 117 calls for service and one accident June 22-23. The following arrests were made:

Adam Blake Pitts, WM, 07/27/81, larceny; shoplifting, 1st offense

Marlena Samone Smith, BF, 12/24/83, disorderly conduct

Zorri Amond Murray, BM, 07/01/77, simple domestic assault - 2nd offense

Jones County Sheriff’s Department reported 749 calls for service, four accidents, 30 traffic stops and 255 business/residential security checks over the weekend. The following arrests were made:

Chandler, Eric, WM, 08/12/92, unknown offense, no license tag, no insurance, no crash helmet, suspended drivers license, unknown offense, disorderly conduct

Daughtry, Kimberly, WF, 10/01/87, disorderly conduct

Ezell, Lori, WF, 09/22/70, possession of controlled substance

Hankins, Amanda, WF, 01/23/79, public drunkenness

Hernandez, Diego, HM, 05/11/84, careless driving, driving under the influence-1st offense

Hester, Thomas, WM, 12/07/62, disorderly conduct

Jason, Jessica, WM, 02/03/89, shoplifting, 3rd offense

Lovett, Charles, WM, 07/02/68, parole violation

Myrick, Joshua, WM, 01/21/77, domestic violence

Prince, Jason, WM, 11/26/73, contempt of court

Santamaria, Mario, HM, 09/24/82, driving under the influence/refusal to take test, possession of beer in dry county, careless driving, no drivers license, no insurance
