Ellisville Elem. students place at county reading fair

Virginia Lowery’s class entered the local Reading Fair at Ellisville Elementary School and won first place in the school contest. Her class then moved to the district level and won second place in the Jones County District Reading Fair.Lowery’s class enjoyed the project and learned a lot. Their project was based on the book entitled “Millions of Cats”.     The oil paintings of Andrea Kostyal will be on display at the Eula Bass Lewis art gallery at Jones County Junior College through February 17.  The Hattiesburg resident and native of Hungary, has been creating art since early childhood.  Abstract collage paintings have been her focus since moving to the U.S. in 2001.

We have all had the experience of feeling like another person was closer to us physically than was comfortable. So too it is important to define for yourself how close you want to be with others emotionally. Naturally, this varies with who the other person is.
