JCJC sports ticket packages
Jones County Junior College is offering two “Sports Ticket” packages for Bobcat fans for the upcoming school year. Fans can purchase a “Couples Package” for $185. This will give them two adult tickets to all regular season home football games, including two adult ‘tailgating’ meals before games. They will also get two adult tickets to regular season home basketball, baseball, softball and soccer games, as well as membership in the Bobcat Club and JCJC Alumni Association. South Jones football reunion scheduled for Sept. 10
A reunion is scheduled for Sept. 10 for all ex-South Jones football players who played under coach Jack Thompson, from 1985 to 2002. A tailgate party is set for 7 p.m., just before the Braves play West Jones. South Jones will also honor former head coach Sonny Farrar before the kickoff. Chili’s Line Drive Classic set for Sept. 18 in Hattiesburg
The Chili’s Line Drive Classic softball tournament is slated Sept. 18 at Hattiesburg’s Tatum Park. Men’s and Co-ed games will be governed by USSSA rules. The South Jones Lady Braves had two highlights with this 53-45 Region 5-5A win. South wrapped up the regular season championship as they finished league play at 6-0. The win was also the Lady Braves’ twentieth win on the season.
