Sertoma T-ball registration

JCJC Alumni Foundation Golf Tournament at LCC
The 11th annual Jones County Junior College Alumni Foundation Golf Tournament will take place March 26 at Laurel Country Club. The tournament is a 3-man scramble and entry fee is $75 per player. Tournament sponsorships are available for $200 (social sponsor) and $400 (corporate sponsor). The proceeds from the tournament are used to fund scholarships at JCJC. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on the morning of the tournament. A pancake breakfast will be served for participants. United Way golf tourney
The 9th Annual Williams Big Pine Classic golf tournament benefiting the United Way and the American Red Cross will be held Thursday, April 8 at Laurel Country Club. Entry fee is $300 per team or $80 per person for the four-person scramble format. Breakfast and registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to first through third place, as well as closest to the pin, longest drive, door prizes, gift bags and $10,000 hole-in-one contest. LJC Dixie Boys Baseball registration, tryouts
Laurel Jones County Dixie Boys Baseball ages 13&14 will hold registration and tryouts March 20th & 21st at 2 p.m. and March 22 at 6 p.m. at the field on West Dr. Registration fee is $75. Players should bring a copy of their birth certificate and and glove. Returning players don't have to tryout but they must register. Benefit softball tournament at Petal City Park

DYB umpires meeting set for Wednesday, March 10

STATE CHAMPIONS
The Laurel Knight Hawks captured the Mississippi Christian Home Educators (MCHE) state basketball championship Monday in Jackson. In the final game of the double elimination tournament, the Knight Hawks defeated the two year reigning state champions, Jackson Victors, with a final score of 67-64.
