Waynesboro girl gets the wish of a lifetime

Photo/Eloria Newell James

Lexi Tuttle of State Line was excited to learn Monday that her wish to meet entertainer Miley Cyrus will come true. Lexi, who suffers from transverse myelitis, found out during a Make-A-Wish ceremony at the Town Square in Waynesboro that she will be going to a Miley Cyrus concert in North Carolina and meet the singer backstage. Pictured with Lexi is her mother, Amanda Hubbard and Waynesboro Fire Chief Buster Crocker, who helped make the wish come true. Look for more on this story in the Leader-Call’s annual Good News edition Thanksgiving Day.
