Man charged with grand larceny after stealing vehicle

According to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, a Jones County man arrested for stealing vehicle faces grand larceny charges.

Billy Joe Crosby, a/k/a “JO JO,” was arrested and charged for grand larceny Thursday.

Sheriff Alex Hodge said, “These charges are in connection with the theft of a 1991 Blue Ford F-250 that was stolen from property on Royce Pool Road in Jones County.”

According to Captain Don Scott, “It is believed that the theft of the vehicle occurred between the dates of March 2 and March 4th.

Crosby was arrested and jailed in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility.
