The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art will host an Iron Pour today from 5-8 p.m. at the Carriage House Studio parking lot. University of Southern Mississippi associate professor Jennifer Torres of the sculpture department will lead a group of art students in pouring molten iron into molds. The event is free to the public. Wednesday afternoon, the museum hosted a Scratch Mold Workshop in the Carriage House Studio for individuals interested in creating unique pieces of artwork. The workshop will also be held today from 3-5 p.m. in the studio. Scratch molds are $10 each.
