Deputies arrest pair on drug-related charges

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office arrested two county residents Thursday on drug-related charges. Sheriff Alex Hodge identified the two as Kimberly Russell, 19, and Steven Corley, 19, both of the 700 block of Pecan Grove Road east of Ellisville.

Hodge said deputies executed a search warrant at the residence Thursday “in search of drug activity.” He said deputies seized drug paraphernalia and an undetermined amount of methamphetamine.

Each is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were being held in the Jones County Adult Detention Center.
