UBS collected over 40 units of blood before the July 4th holiday weekend. The company also hosts blood donations the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at the Cameron Center. Those looking to donate are asked to eat and drinking plenty of liquids. O positive and negative donors are especially wanted.

Arrest made in bomb threat
A 19-year-old Jones County Junior College student was arrested Tuesday in connection with a bomb threat to a building on the school’s campus earlier in the day.
