Alan and Cathy Clark of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison, to Brandon Evans of Laurel, son of Don and Jan Evans of Columbia and Harold and Vickie Holifield of Laurel.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Lovey and Bessie Arnold, Charles Clark of Madison, the late Dorthy Middleton Clark, the late Betty Beech Clark and the late Evelyn Westbrook Clark. She is a 2004 honors graduate of West Jones High School. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in marketing. She was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and the American Advertising Federation. She is an advertising executive for Laurel Leader-Call and Oak Street Magazine.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Howard Massey, Marie Creel of Laurel and the late Eva May Graham. He is a 2000 graduate of West Jones High School, a 2003 graduate of the Mississippi Fire Academy. He is a 2007 graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy. He is employed as a police officer for the Laurel Police Department.
Wedding vows will be exchanged at 10 a.m. Jan. 12, 2009, on the beach of Negril, Jamaica.
