Apart from the leaked launch date, the company has hinted that the OnePlus 6T will have an nearly bezel-less design with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. That is exactly what seems to have happened overnight for the renders of the OnePlus 6T. By the looks of it, looks like the OnePlus 6T will come with much thinner bezels than the OnePlus 6T. Today, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the OnePlus 6T is going to miss a couple of features that the rest of the industry has made standard at this point, and these are in addition to their removal of the headphone jack.
OnePlus will formally announce the OnePlus 6T in a couple of weeks, but we already know the phone's significant new features thanks to a series of remarks from company execs.
Talking about sizes, the battery is bigger on the OnePlus 6T as well, now boasting a 3700mAh cell.
The OnePlus 6T may not be out yet, but we still know a fair bit about the phone through reliable insider reports and rumors. The OnePlus 6T is expected to get a dual camera module with several software-based enhancements such as artificial intelligence-based automatic scene recognition, better low light photography, etc. If you look closely, it looks slightly different from OnePlus 6 with a slimmer design and flatter look and feel to it. This year's offering by OnePlus is the OnePlus 6T which comes with significant improvements over the last OnePlus 6. Another major change in the OnePlus 6T is that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack in the device and there is only one USB Type-C port for both charging and connecting wired headphones (with Type-C connector).
OnePlus has been releasing a bunch of teasers for the upcoming OnePlus 6T on twitter.
We expect the OnePlus 6T to come with either a 6.3-inch or a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The OnePlus 6T will still rely on the Snapdragon 845 paired with up to 8GB of RAM and at least up to 256GB of storage to deliver a fast mobile experience.
