Green Bay QB Rodgers working out with rehabbing players

Aaron Rodgers called his injury a "sprained knee", according to Rob Demovsky, an ESPN reporter who covers the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers did the near impossible and turned a 20-point third quarter deficit into a victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 1.

As far as Mike Zimmer is concerned, there is no way Rodgers is missing Sunday's divisional matchup.

One person who's convinced Rodgers is going to play is Mike Zimmer. The coach said the team will take it day-by-day with his MVP QB.

There hasn't been any evident discussion on Rodgers wearing a brace, but he said that there are certainly options available and that they'll make a decision on that later in the week.

"I'm feeling better, a little better, every day - Monday, Tuesday and now today", Rodgers said.

"Obviously there's the hope of playing", McCarthy said, via the team's website. Typically, players need to practice throughout the week in order to be eligible to play on game day. "We'll give him the whole week to get ready". He tore the ACL in his knee in high school, and played with the injury for four years before having surgery while in college at California. "See how it feels tomorrow and see how it feels Friday, Saturday and then hopefully ready to go Sunday". There were a couple throws in which Rodgers said he got a "jolt" of pain after putting weight on his left leg. Just because Rodgers is in the rehab group that doesn't mean it's a setback.
