Apple's iPhone XS Event: Here's How To Watch And What To Expect

It was the first mass-market smartphone to demand a $1,000 starting price. The company is rumoured to announce iPhones and Apple Watch 4.

Apple is expected to use the event at the Steve Jobs Theatre on its Cupertino campus to reveal as many as three new versions of the iPhone. We are also anxious to see the new Apple Watch Series 4 which is said to feature a very big design upgrade along with enhanced functionality. Apple is expected to announce refreshed iPhones in the United States on september 12, 2018. The 5.8-inch iPhone XS is being termed as the true successor of the current iPhone X. All three are said to sport almost the same notch design at the front.

Industry analysts expect the price of new iPhones to start from Dh3,200 and it could go beyond Dh4,500.

The new computer will have a fingerprint reader but won't have Apple's controversial Touch Bar, according to the note seen by Business Insider. Many might have thought that this year's iPhones would ship with a higher watt charger, being that all competing devices with fast charging actually come with a fast charger. The iPhone X was bezel-less, killed the home button and was the most expensive phone Apple had ever put in a box.The success of the phone seems to have taught Apple one thing, when it comes to a premium phone the price elasticity is more and people seem to be okay pushing themselves to buy a more expensive phone, as long as they see value in it. Which means that September's event is definitely not going to be all about the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max (or whatever its called), and the 6.1-inch iPhone with an LCD display. We can't wait to see what's in store.

It also brought the iPhone into a new price bracket: $999.

The latest MacBook, Apple's thinnest laptop ever, is now 13.21mm at its thickest point and weighs 0.92kg (2.03 pounds). We are expecting Apple to add 10 percent margin to compensate the depreciating rupee and increased import duty. That isn't stopping some news from appearing, though, and we now have three little tidbits that might be of interest to those who have a keen eye on what Apple's lineup will look like for the next year.

It is predicted that Apple products will be available to buy in the first week of October.

So, in keeping with that theme, we're expecting an iPhone XS.

The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max could be priced around Rs 85,500 and Rs 1,05,000 in India. In fact, if you didn't know, one of the main reasons for the push towards screen sizes larger than 5 inches was the requirement to improve the effectiveness of mobile advertisements and not really convenience of the user.
