Apple unveils three new iPhones including bigger, pricier XS Max

The coding did not give prices of the new phones, but Apple will likely blast further past the $1,000 mark set by the 10th anniversary iPhone X previous year, when it announces new phones at its Silicon Valley headquarters.

Apple's new iPhone XS and XS Max smartphones got two big camera features that today's iPhone X lacks: an HDR mode and a bokeh adjustment slider.

The XML file further revealed the colour options for Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max cases. Wall Street is targeting a price of $1,049 or $1,099 versus the current $999 base price for the iPhone X.

The new iPhone XS models also have a slider that lets you adjust how out of focus the background is behind a photos's subject - a quality known in photography circles as bokeh.

Apple could unveil as many as three new iPhone handsets this week as the technology giant looks to expand the range of smartphones it offers.

But if you are new to the iOS 12 game, or have just bought an iPhone or iPad, then you will be pleased to learn that the update is packed with a bunch of new features which is sure to breathe new life into your OS.

Apple also is expected to release an iPhone with minor updates to last year's $1,000 model and another version made of cheaper materials, including a 6.1-inch LCD screen. While similar in size to the iPhone 8 Plus, the Xs Max will employ a steel chassis opposed to aluminum.

The third model, with an expected 15.5-centimetre display, has intrigued analysts the most. From this image, it seems that the iPhone XC will be available in space gray, silver - two standard iPhone colors - red, blue, and brown.

On the camera, it features a single 12-mgapixel rear camera.

In March, Apple unveiled a new 9.7-inch iPad, aimed for use at educational institutions, with a 9.7-inch display and a $329 starting price tag. It is waterproof, boasts the largest iPhone display ever and is "the most advance iPhone we've ever created", Apple chief executive Tim Cook said. Last year's iPhone X - pronounced "ten" - represented a major redesign.

According to code on the sitemap seen by ATH, the company is also planning to release bigger watches, with its Apple Watch 4 coming in 40 mm and 44 mm sizes.

This bigger display will allow for richer, more customizable watch faces, which you can outfit with new complications including your favorite contacts and multiple time zones.
