While there have been a couple of delays along the way, Rockstar is nearing the end of development for Red Dead Redemption 2. We wouldn't mind another, though. The voice over explains there is a huge world to explore and is an attempt to capture the moment when the age of outlaws was ending.
Rockstar has offered the first proper look at their new game in action, with a detailed explanation of the game world and features. In case you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out through here. It encompasses everything from harsh mountain trails and dense forests and swamplands, sweeping deserts, rugged livestock towns, and lively cities.
You'll be playing as Arthur Morgan, a senior member of an outlaw gang, who has to flee from authorities on the regular. In Red Dead Redemption 2, your interactions with people matter.
In the trailer, Morgan is seen interacting with characters in a variety of ways based on contextual conversation prompts. You can start fights or squash them, save people or let them perish. Before Thursday's new reveal, fans had to be content with scrutinizing a trailer from May 2, which has been streamed over 25 million times. When forced to leave an area, the gang sets up a camp. But watch out, because the animals are just as temperamental as people can be.

We get a glimpse at how the fist-fighting and gunplay have been improved since the original Red Dead Redemption, along with how the bond with your horse will improve as the game progresses.
