'Mighty Ducks' Star Shaun Weiss Arrested for Intoxication in California

That makes the latest news regarding "The Mighty Ducks" actor Shaun Weiss incredibly sad.

While reports claim Shaun was under the influence when he was arrested, sources told Entertainment Tonight that the 39-year-old had been sober for weeks and was cleaning up his act.

Weiss was picked up by patrolling officers who found him and three others outside a closed business complex in Oroville, Calif.

Nicodemus said that the group were "behaving erratically with flashlights" and that Weiss was shining a light into his own face.

A blood sample was also not taken.

"He was arrested for intoxication only and no further criminal proceedings are desired at this time", a Facebook post from OPD reads.

One of the stars of the 1990s movie series "The Mighty Ducks" was arrested over the weekend and his mugshot is shocking. "I can't believe that's really him".

The Oroville Public Safety Department confirmed the police arrested a dishevelled Weiss on August 4 at around 12:45 a.m. PT for suspicion of being under the influence of drugs.

The actor was detained for a few hours and was released without charges.

This is not the first arrest for Weiss.

Weiss, who played Ducks goalie Goldberg, was reportedly released by cops after spending the night in the drunk tank.

He also appeared in TV shows such as "Freaks and Geeks", "Boy Meets World", "The Tony Danza Show", "Mr. Rhodes", "Here and Now", and "The King of Queens". Disturbingly, this arrest came just five days after he completed a 12-day prison stint for petty theft.
