Manchester United reject massive offer from Bracelona for Paul Pogba

The future of Paul Pogba at Manchester United remains uncertain as his former club Juventus have been linked with a move for the World Cup victor, although Barcelona's manager has refused to deny that he too would be interested in signing the midfielder.

Pogba has yet to return to pre-season after his World Cup exploits in Russian Federation, despite the fact United kick off their Premier League season on Friday.

Mourinho's decision to keep Pogba at Old Trafford has been reported by Miguel Delaney of the Irish Independent.

The board also believes Pogba can still reach his potential at Old Trafford, despite last season's problems.

"This season, especially after the World Cup that he's had, he's going to start expressing himself a lot more".

Pogba is a great player who is on another team. Thank you. He's my friend, I grew up with him.

Several English media outlets report that Raiola will present a bid of €110 million that Barcelona are willing to pay the "Red Devils" to acquire Pogba.

'The players are in a closed camp, isolated from the external world, from commercial compromises, and every possible influence'. And with just three days until the close of the transfer market in England, Barcelona have very little time to close a deal.

He is under contract with Manchester United until 2021.

United can still receive offers for players after Thursday, but will not be able to pursue targets to replace Pogba.

The deal could hinge on Marcos Rojo leaving United and he has yet to be convinced that a move to Everton is the best option for him.
