The pop star is now in the hospital, recovering from a drug overdose she suffered last week, and subsequent complications.
Lovato, who had reportedly been found unconscious in her room after a night of partying in celebration of a backup dancer's birthday, was not breathing when the assistant found her, and her pillow reportedly had blood on it, a sign of hemorrhaging.
The bodyguard reportedly rushed to Lovato's side and propped her up, as well as attempted to clear her airways so she could breathe.
As we reported, the Sorry Not Sorry singer has agreed to go back to rehab following an apparent overdose at her Hollywood Hills house. Paramedics later arrived and administered Narcan, a drug that counters the affects of opioids.
Demi Lovato is making the choice to get help.
They said: 'Her and her team need to decide what is the best decision for Demi once she leaves the hospital.
"Wilmer is relieved and grateful Demi has agreed to check into a rehab", a source close to the actor told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY.
