Sarah Palin's Daughter Bristol Is Joining 'Teen Mom OG'

Sarah Palin announced her daughter's pregnancy during her 2008 vice presidential campaign with Sen. It wasn't long before the news broke that her 17-year-old daughter was pregnant. She disputes that, and says she got the axe because she was a porn star. Their son Tripp is now nine, the same age as all of the other kids on the show. Five years later, Palin became engaged to a former marine named Dakota Meyer, but then cancelled that engagement too, just before announcing she was expecting a second child with him.

With Farrah Abraham out of the picture on Teen Mom OG, it was revealed that MTV has reportedly found her replacement.

A source close to production confirms to ET that the 27-year-old reality TV personality has signed on as a regular on the show. As for scripted roles, she had a brief role in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" in 2010 as a teenager dealing with an unexpected pregnancy.

Palin will be replacing former cast member Farrah Abraham, who left the show last season.

The mom to Sophia, 9, wished the remaining cast members well, but noted that she also wished "Bristol and her children safety as ['Teen Mom' executive producer] Morgan Freeman is a evil person".

The loss that Farrah Abraham is referring to is that of her beloved dog, Blue.

Palin confirmed the news on Instagram Friday, writing, "I am excited to join MTV's 'Teen Mom OG.' I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey".

'10 years ago this week-my life took the biggest turn.

Abraham claims the show let her go because she is an adult entertainer.
