Meghan's Dad's Desperate Interview With The Sun

In his exclusive, and self-proclaimed "last" interview with The Sun, Thomas chided other members of the Markle family for their public comments about Markle.

Thomas, who famously backed out of attending his daughter's marriage to Prince Harry, has also accused the Royal Family of turning Meghan into "something out of the 1930's".

Thomas told United Kingdom tabloid The Sun he thinks his daughter is "terrified" with her new royal duties.

"It was curated by the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg and I asked their royal highnesses to come as he does charitable work in southern Africa and she has said before that Nelson Mandela is one of her heroes".

They also spoke to 92-year-old Andrew Mlangeni, who spent almost three decades in Robben Island prison with Mandela. "I know her smile", Thomas told the British tabloid. "I don't like the one I'm seeing right now".

Leaving one long-term job to start an entirely new career can be a daunting and hard process-even if you're making that transition from a starring role on a TV series to a lifetime position in the British royal family.

I don't know", but added, "It really worries me. "I think she's under too much pressure", said Thomas Markle, 73. "There's a high price to pay to be married to that family", he continued.

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle making headlines on nearly a daily basis, Kate Middleton has taken a back seat and that's one place that she doesn't want to be.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be annoyed that her father Thomas Markle keeps talking about them. I honestly think that if the queen took the time to think that she would not see me because I did some stupid photographs, that is ridiculous. "I sent a text to my palace contact saying I would like to reach my daughter and got no reply". I want to be a part of their life. "I learned how to sew from them, I saw the process in the factory and I just fell in love with the idea of something going from paper to something that you can wear".

To finish the daytime aesthetic, royal fans will also be pleased to learn that she brought back her now-trademark messy bun - after weeks of donning Duchess of Cambridge-inspired curls.
