According to the outlet, Jenner has amassed $900 million dollars since launching the brand less than three years ago, which makes her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America's Richest Self-Made Women. The magazine values her company at worth almost $800 million - and Jenner owns 100 percent of it.
Forbes values Jenner's brand at almost $800 million.
The 20-year-old makeup mogul and reality star is on track to become the youngest-ever self-made billionaire, a title once held by Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. Not to mention the millions she's earned from her many endorsement deals, TV appearances and retail goods from the Kendall + Kylie Clothing brand she shares with sister Kendall Jenner.
Forbes reports that Kylie Cosmetics, founded in 2016, is now worth almost US$800 million and the beauty mogul, who plumped up her own pout with lip fillers up until recently, owns 100 per cent of the company.
Forbes attributed Jenner's success to her popularity on social media.
In an interview with the magazine, Jenner, 20, credited her social media following for the giant business she has built.
"Social media is an wonderful platform; I have such easy access to my fans and my customers".
"Thank you @Forbes for this article and the recognition", added Kylie. "I turned to makeup to help me feel more confident". "It brings me so much joy to watch you continue to make your @kyliecosmetics dreams a reality!"
However, Forbes noted that Kylie Cosmetics' growth has started to taper.
Earlier this week Jenner, a mother of one daughter named Stormi, announced she would stop receiving lip injections, known as dermal fillers.
She won't turn 21 until August but she already runs one of the hottest makeup companies ever, as well as being a new mum. While it seems like Kylie has a lot on her plate it definitely gives us a billion more reasons to be keeping up with Kylie Jenna.
