Brock Lesnar Calls Out UFC Heavyweight Champion

On Saturday night, WWE's Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, appeared at UFC 226.

Cormier's move up to challenge Miocic was only the third superfight in UFC history between reigning champions of two weight classes.

According to UFC president Dana White, no date has been set as of yet but it's happening. Lesnar entered the ring and the two went at each other, trash talking and shoving. "He's a wrestler. He's an All-American".

In January 2017, he was hit with a one-year suspension by The United States Anti-Doping Agency and has around five or six months of his ban remaining. Your days are the past, 2010. Jeremy Botter of Bleacher Report and CNN reported on Saturday night that Lesnar will face Cormier for the title at UFC 230 in November at Madison Square Garden, which means Lesnar re-entered the USADA drug testing pool in May.

White had previously said Lesnar would be returning to the company later this year.

The reigning light-heavyweight champion went into the bout as the huge underdog, which was partly down to the fact he hadn't fought in the heavyweight division for almost five years.

And, after an exhilarating start to the bout that saw both men trade heavy leather, Cormier made the crucial breakthrough in the final minute of the opening round.

DC, in stepping up to heavyweight, was not expected to hold anything resembling a power-advantage over the champ Miocic but when all was said and done after the four or so minutes that the fight lasted, there was no doubt left over this guy's suitability to the 265lb division. "I never thought I would fight him, but Brock Lesnar, get your ass in here".

In the co-main event, Derrick Lewis defeated Ngannou via unanimous decision in a snoozefest that drew jeers from the crowd in a heavily-anticipated fight. He's a former UFC champion.

Perry edged the fight via split-decision after a non-stop, drag-out affair, but Felder's coach Duke Roufus confirmed to press row after the fight that his man fought nearly all of the fight with a broken arm after sustaining an injury early in the first round.
