Midfielder Guendouzi, 19, follows in the footsteps of Uruguay global Lucas Torreira, who was unveiled on Tuesday, as well as full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, goalkeeper Bernd Leno and centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos in signing for the Gunners.
Despite the club not announcing the signing yet, leaked video footage has emerged of the French youngster signing his deal at the Emirates.
On his latest recruit, Emery said: "In Lucas Torreira, we have signed a young player who is a very bright talent in the game".
Although they were relegated that term, Guendouzi impressed in Ligue 2 last season before the Premier League side came swooping in. Few will argue that Emery has been tasked with an nearly impossible job in replicating both the success and longevity of Wenger but just what would constitute a good first season for the Spaniard?
Arsenal head coach Emery: "We are delighted Matteo is joining us".
He expressed his desire to join Arsenal and we therefore moved quickly to bring the matter to conclusion, believing a swift resolution to be in the best interest of both Sam and the club. "He wants to learn and improve and will be an important part of our first-team squad".
The combative midfielder reflected on the experience, saying: "I feel very proud of it, it all turned out great for me". I want to make the most of this opportunity life has given me.
"I feel calm", Torreira said during first interview with the club's media team. I am really looking forward to starting this new adventure.
"It's a very positive thing that people want to welcome me".
