The Cavs Reportedly Plan On Keeping Kevin Love

He continued by saying "LeBron is actively searching and recruiting players to Cleveland, even more so than he did after he came back with Kevin Love". Pictured: James #23 and O'Neal #32 of the Eastern Conference All-Stars smile on the bench in the final moments of the East's win over the Western Conference All-Stars in the 54th All-Star Game, part of 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, on February 20, 2005.

Walker was rumored to be a target of the Cavs prior to this year's trade deadline, but the Cavs eventually opted for the Lakers package of Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr., as well as the trades for Rodney Hood and George Hill.

LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal were teammates for a brief period of time.

The two side have met face-to-face and have been in contact via phone to discuss the King's future with his hometown team, however, no deal is imminent and the Cavs won't know his intentions heading into the Draft.

It doesn't look like that's going to happen, though.

'You can't be thinking how this pick will impact what James is going to do'. While his family will be a major factor for what he does on a personal level, James wants his primary motivating factor on a professional level to be the pursuit of more rings.

"After I got to three, everybody was saying I couldn't get another". The draft is on Thursday. "Keep in mind that every story is coming nearly directly from his camp, do not be surprised when new LeBron news comes out, and Kawhi news follows, it is all a part of the plan in controlling the narrative".

"People tend to forget LeBron's ultimate end game in the National Basketball Association, which is owning a team". He said if the Rockets can't get LeBron James, we can kiss any championship dreams goodbye but I told him the unfortunate news claiming that LeBron James had reportedly not found Houston to be one of his more favorable cities.

"At some point as you keep adding older guys, you've got to get younger whether you have LeBron James or not".

And while there are numerous unknowns, there is one indisputable fact: the Cavs must upgrade their roster to have any chance of keeping James and continuing a relationship that was resurrected in 2014.
