Stormy Daniels sues former lawyer for colluding with Trump attorney

"Stormy Daniels?" Giuliani said while shaking his head.

Brent Blakely, Cohen's attorney, also denounced the suit as having no merit.

Cohen is now the focus of a criminal investigation in the Southern District of NY into whether he violated campaign-finance laws or committed bank fraud. It alleges that Davidson "secretly tipped off" Cohen to Daniels's plans to sue him, leading Cohen to seek a gag order on Daniels in a private arbitration proceeding.

Cheetah's posted an announcement on its Facebook page on Wednesday saying "due to circumstances outside of our control, Stormy Daniels was forced to postpone her upcoming performances".

She then accused Giuliani of "marrying his cousin", prompting Tapper to correct, "It got annulled and it was a second cousin". She ended up not appearing on the show. "Let's forget tonight", he wrote.

"That said, attorney Davidson is very happy that he (Avenatti) has filed this lawsuit because he strongly believes that the filing constitutes a full and complete waiver of the attorney-client privilege", he added in a statement.

Though no proof is offered in the lawsuit to back up the claim, it states that "wise men" is a reference to a group that includes Trump, NBC News reported.

On Wednesday, Stormy Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a new lawsuit against her former lawyer, Keith Davidson, claiming that he colluded with President Donald Trump's attorney, Michael Cohen, while representing her.

"That two lawyers on opposite sides of negotiating a deal would be talking and that that amounts to collusion and not acting in best interest of his client is totally absurd", he said. According to CNN, he also said of Daniels: "I respect women - handsome women and women with value - but a woman who sells her body for sexual exploitation I don't respect. But I'm sorry, I don't respect a porn star the way I respect a career women or a women of substance or a woman who has great respect for herself as a women and as a person and isn't going to sell her body for sexual exploitation".

"I certainly hope that we are not going to reach a place where Rudy Giuliani is going to be the police that is going to decide which women deserve respect or not", he said.

Avenatti fired back on Twitter, calling Giuliani a "misogynist".
