Griezmann: My Future Will Be Announced Next Week

Monaco forward Thomas Lemar is set to sign for Atletico Madrid in the coming days.

There was a moment of comedy during Tuesday's France news conference, when an eager Spanish journalist tried his best to get the scoop on Antoine Griezmann's future.

FC Barcelona transfer target Antoine Griezmann has reportedly made a massive decision regarding his future, amid rumours the Atletico Madrid man could soon team up with superstar Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou.

The France worldwide - who has spent three seasons with Monaco since arriving from Caen - is in Russian Federation for the World Cup.

The forward has been expected to confirm his future before the World Cup and said Saturday that was still the case.

Lemar played down a move ahead of setting off for the World Cup saying: "There's no news".

Last summer came his most recent extension, when he added another year to take him up to 2022.

France coach Didier Deschamps prohibits players from undergoing negotiations during tournaments, pushing Griezmann towards making a decision.

Griezmann bagged 29 goals in 49 games for Atletico last term and is regarded by many as one of Europe's most talented forwards.

While Liverpool and Arsenal have been interested in signing him again this summer, with Chelsea also said to be keen, none of the Premier League clubs have made a concrete offer.
