Beyond Good and Evil 2 Collaborating With Joseph Gordon Levitt's HITRecord

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was confirmed previous year and since then Ubisoft has been silent about the game.

Ubisoft labeled the in-game footage as pre-alpha, but it looks pretty damn good to be considered so early still.

On HitRecord many thousands of creatives can upload different photographs, music, art, writing, etc. etc. and cross collaborate on different projects with other creators.

The original "Beyond Good and Evil", a classic 3D action-adventure game, was released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo Game Cube, and PC in fall 2003.

A brand new cinematic trailer featured some new faces, including Uma, the chief medic, and Calum, the chief engineer, aboard a space pirate ship on their search for a deep space artifact. That game also asked passionate fans to contribute assets while the game was still in shaky development, and the game was ultimately cancelled anyway so who knows what happened to that work. Those plans were later scrapped, Beyond Good & Evil 2 disappeared until late 2016when Ancel confirmed the follow-up would be a prequel.

Though there was some initial concerns regarding the wording of the content creation, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was quick to take to twitter to assuage any concerns about artists potentially going uncredited or unpaid.

It keeps sounding like BG&E2 is moving toward a more open-ended design - how will it compare to the best sandbox games on PC?

Beyond Good and Evil 2 does not have any scheduled release window or announced platforms, but we will keep our ears to the ground for any and all news on this anticipated game.

We also see a medic using acupuncture, an engineer, and the two characters - monkey and human - who've been around since the game's initial reveal.
