The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Russell County, northeastern Scott County, southeastern Wise County and central Washington County in Virginia.
Berks and the surrounding area can expect spotty thunderstorms Sunday and slightly cooler than temperatures Saturday, Reppert said.
There's a chance for torrential rain, gusty winds and perhaps some small hail this evening, with the possibility of some street flooding.
The storms will be in the area through around midnight.
Showers and thunderstorms will begin again Sunday night and should last into the Monday morning commute.
The overnight low should be around 50 degrees, setting up another foggy and drizzly morning on Monday. Skies will stay overcast and the high will be 57 degrees, the weather service said.
