Johnny Manziel says he's OK after reports of hospitalization

According to TMZ Sports, the former Texas A&M quarterback was hospitalized Monday in Humble after having a reaction to medication.

A representative from Manziel's camp told TMZ:.

His NFL career truncated by injuries and on- and off-the-field issues in parts of two full seasons, Manziel has been trying to return to professional football over the previous year, and reportedly was close to a Canandian Football League deal over the winter, but negotiations stalled. In recent months, Manziel had been attempting to make an National Football League comeback following several off-field controversies involving alcohol and drug abuse-related incidents dating back to his 2015 release from the Browns. This apparently occurred following his participation in a golf outing hosted by his former college teammate Mike Evans.

It sounds like Johnny Manziel is going to be just fine. He has also made a flirtation to play with the Canadian Football League.

The former Heisman Trophy victor and current pro football free agent is in the midst of an attempted career comeback and image rehabilitation.
