The meteor impact introduces a brand-new mechanic called Hop Rocks for players to try out. Despite Dusty Depot being erased, Epic Games made the crater a new fighting spot, renamed as "Dusty Divot". These purple crystals enable players to float in zero gravity for a limited time, opening up a whole host of gameplay options. The effect only lasts for one minute, however, so use it wisely. Season 4 is now live for Fortnite players and with the new areas, new items, and new ways to play, a new list of challenges has also arrived.
This change affects all weapons, except for the Rocket Launcher and Grenade Launcher.
