EA announces Anthem release window

How is that going to happen? Every dimension of this game will offer something entirely new for a wide audience of players.

Again, this doesn't mean you shouldn't expect surprises from EA.

Anthem seems like a big action MMO, the likes of which we've seen many of, arguably including Destiny and even Bioware's own Star Wars: The Old Republic. The release of Mass Effect Andromeda was met with negative criticism and failed to live up to the high bar set by other games in the series. He said, "specifically, I like to be the one making choices in my story-if it's multiplayer, won't the story get watered down?"

Hudson promises that while "Anthem is meant to bring out the best parts of playing as part of an online community, you can choose to play through the story with only your friends, or even on your own". Hudson said the team will share details on how it works "very soon". In the report, EA CEO, Andrew Wilson, spoke a little bit about the publisher's plans for Anthem, saying that there will be ways for the community to "play early", which will enable BioWare to "shape and refine the game with their input and feedback".

Plus mentions casually that there's a team within the studio now prototyping or testing something "that's very Dragon Age". Well, because apparently the game is less than a year away from release. Later in the year, Laidlaw announced he was leaving BioWare, so it's possible this new game Hudson is teasing was the next Dragon Age, but has since been refocused into something else. While everything from the growth of EA Sports sales and financial earnings compared with the previous year were detailed, Wilson also zeroed on the company's upcoming projects - and that includes Anthem. You're not a solitary character walking around by yourself-in a BioWare game you're always adventuring with a group of friends. That puts Microsoft's console at 29.4 million, since we know from Sony that the PlayStation 4 was on 73.6 million at the end of 2017.
