Cooler Monday with sunshine

Cooler Monday with sunshine

Combined with daytime heating, showers and storms will be more likely this afternoon and evening with a few heavy downpours possible.

A warm front will move north of IN on Friday and highs will rise into the 80s.

High pressure in control of the region will give us sunny and dry weather today.

"So far, we picked up close to 1" to 1.5" of rain in some spots.

These isolated storms will exit the area quickly by this evening.

We'll start off the day dry, with clouds increasing by late morning. Gusty winds around most storms are also possible Monday afternoon. For the most part the rain will be spotty until we get into Friday/Saturday where it becomes more scattered to widespread. A low pressure system will slide a warm front through and bring southwest winds.

Thursday and Friday are trending cooler and wetter. We can't rule out a leftover shower on Tuesday. Be prepared for a cool Tuesday morning with lows in the mid to upper 40s!

As you would expect for this time of year, the week ahead involves a pretty active pattern with multiple chances for rain and changes in our temperatures. Temperatures will once again return to the 70s and 80s to near 90.

As if Mondays and Tuesdays weren't bad I right?
