Why Obama won't go to Royal wedding

Why Obama won't go to Royal wedding

Markle will be the first person of mixed race heritage and the second American to marry into the British royal family which has attracted a lot of worldwide attention and debate.

Samantha Markle, 52, tore into her sibling last night over the couple's controversial wedding guest list. Out of respect, tradition and humanitarianism, the #Markles should be invited if 2,000 complete strangers are invited.

"Our uncle who got her the internship, brother, me, best friend of 30 years Nikki Priddy, nephews".

The decision has avoided the niggling issue of how to manage the guest list if Prince Harry and Ms Markle did want to invite Mr Obama and his wife Michelle.

"Both the couples look forward to seeing each other soon", a royal source said.

Harry's place in the line of succession makes this wedding less politically significant and the couple have instead invited youth workers and military veterans to attend.

The invitees will be able to watch the arrivals of the bride and groom and their wedding guests at the chapel and the carriage procession as it departs from the castle after the service.

Kensington Palace announced in March that Markle and Prince Harry would be inviting more than 2,600 members of the public to share in their wedding day on May 19. Harry and Markle have requested that those chosen represent a variety of ages and backgrounds and include young people who have displayed strong leadership and served their communities.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to tie the knot on May 19 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Contacted by AFP, a spokesman for Kensington Palace, the prince's official residence, said: "It has been decided that an official list of political leaders - both United Kingdom and global - is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's wedding". "Her Majesty's Government was consulted on this decision, which was taken by The Royal Household", a Kensington Palace spokesman said Tuesday.

According to the Mirror, U.S. President Donald Trump, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, and the Obamas have not been included on the wedding guest list for the ceremony in London.
