Editor's Note: This story will continue to update as new information is released.

North Alabama should brace for high winds, flooding conditions and possible tornadoes Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Huntsville.

"The severe threat should be ending prior to daybreak on Saturday", the weather agency says.

Earlier in the afternoon, a tornado watch was issued for East Texas counties impacted include Anderson, Henderson, Hopkins and Van Zandt counties through 10 p.m.

However, portions of Franklin and Titus counties are under an Enhanced Risk (3/5), and Texarkana is under a Moderate Risk (4/5).

The risky weather threat should end "prior to daybreak" on Saturday as the cold front is expected to clear the area of storms, according to forecasters.

Along a squall line, a few of the storms could be strong to severe.

A lake wind advisory is also in effect until 10:00 p.m. tonight. "Threats of large hail, damaging winds, tornadoes, and locally heavy rainfall are all possible during this event". We all need to remain Weather Alert for the rest of the afternoon/early nighttime hours. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Friday afternoon and Saturday for much of central and southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin.
