The NFL announced the 2018 preseason schedule earlier today and the Patriots preseason slate has several familiar foes.
The preseason highlight will be a Week 3 prime-time game on the road against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys will then host the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals during the weeks of August 16-20 and August 23-26, respectively.
The Ravens open at M&T Bank Stadium, where they will host the NFC West champion Los Angeles Rams on August 9. The Broncos defense, meanwhile, figures to get an extended look at their former starting quarterback, Trevor Siemian, who was traded to the Vikings last month.
Preseason games are a nice way for the fans to get a glimpse of new players and a sense of what the coaches are planning to implement for the upcoming season.
The Eagles announced Wednesday they will be playing Pittsburgh, New England, Cleveland and the New York Jets in the preseason this year. Nine of those 13 games to close the preseason have come in Seattle, but this will be the first time since 2015 that the Raiders have finished up the preseason at the Seahawks. They will be able to do so somewhere between July 25 and July 29.
