New Video Recaps Westworld Season 1 In Under 4 Minutes

"There's a story here with a beginning and middle and end".

Earlier this week, HBO announced that all the "Westworld" stars would be receiving equal pay at the start of filming the third season. So you always know what you're asking, and the great trust it takes for actors to go there with you.

As you'd expect, that action-packed finale left us with about a million questions for the second season.

HBO's critically praised sci-fi drama returns Sunday with the futuristic Westworld theme park in a state of rebellion after suddenly sentient android host Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) murdered park founder Robert Ford to close Season 1. It was one of the season's biggest reveals when viewers learned that Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) isn't a human but another one of Ford's super-secret creations.

The human park worker went missing in season one after being attacked by Bernard, but her death was never confirmed. Needless to say, the park still opened. Yet the first half of that run repeats the show's more impenetrable drawbacks - playing three-dimensional chess, while spending too much time sadistically blowing away pawns. "It was really intense". We see him gazing down in wonder at a dead tiger (again suggesting there are more world's to explore) and riding in a buggy with his human masters, which ties into Lisa Joy's assertion all Hosts won't be fighting the same tight. We think of our seasons as discrete components in the series, to the point where we've named our seasons. Well, it was. But it was also a metaphor for the hosts' path to earning consciousness and sentience - and Dolores achieved both.

In the U.K., Westworld will be simulcast in Britain by Sky Atlantic at the same time it premieres in the U.S. "It was absolutely not what I thought was gonna happen".

How many more parks could we see over the course of these ten episodes?

Elsie (Shannon Woodward), Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth), Logan (Ben Barnes) and maybe even Ford. And on that level, we saw samurai fighting.

We now know that William and the Man in Black are the same person, and that season one had at least three separate timelines on the go. But it's unclear if that means the real world outside of the park, or the Delos headquarters, or where her daughter is.

"[We'll find her] somewhere in the park, not sure what condition she's in".

Will we see the real world?

Was it a host decoy? Is Ford alive? What is Delos' endgame? We like to settle our debts by the end of the season.

Katja Herbers, Neil Jackson and Fares Fares have been added to the main cast, while Jonathan Tucker and Betty Gabriel have recurring roles. The series covered lots of ground, transporting audiences to the charming village of Sweetwater and the tantalizing action of border town Pariah before finally dropping us off at a black-tie event where the robots rebelled against wealthy guests.

AIR DATE & TIME: The Season 2 premiere of Westworld will air tonight in the U.S., Sunday, April 22, at 9 p.m.
