Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen a photographer with royal pedigree who has taken photos of some of the world's biggest celebrities to capture their big day.

According to his website, Lubomirski studied under Mario Testino, a Peruvian photographer who took the official engagement photographs of Prince William and fiance Kate Middleton in 2010, and has since become a recognized name in the fashion industry.

Describing the royal couple as the "world most attractive couple, she said, "I got an email informing me, and I thought it was an April fool's prank", adding that the honour was "truly unbelievable".

Actor Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's highly-anticipated royal wedding has everyone excited, except for one family member.

Queen Elizabeth's 33-year-old grandson, Harry, fifth-in-line to the throne, and Markle, 36, who starred in the US TV legal drama Suits, will marry in Windsor on May 19.

Kensington Palace has announced that Alexi Lubomirski will be the official photographer on May 19 at Windsor Castle.

With the royal wedding fast approaching, it makes sense that the final details seem to be quickly coming together. "He's great. You'd love him" -and that was it".

In an earlier interview with Lubomirski, the photographer said that the initial engagement photos he took for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle actually came out of nowhere, as he was in England when the announcement was made.

"They were so deliciously in love", he told E! "It was the most exciting phone call that I've ever received!"

Samantha has been grabbing quite a few headlines in the lead up to the royal wedding.

Markle reportedly went to the VFS Global UK Visa Application Centre in Chicago and was there for about 10 minutes to finalize her visa, TMZ reported.
