Eden Hazard gives honest assessment of Chelsea FC right now

EDEN HAZARD has his sights set on the Premier League title next season when Chelsea won't have the distraction of the Champions League.

Now after another failure at the weekend, with a home draw against relegation contenders West Ham United, a top-four place looks highly unlikely - as they are now ten points adrift with just six games remaining.

They are now fifth on the Premier League table with Arsenal mounting pressure on them with just three points separating the two sides. There are six games left to play in the league and we will try everything to be in the top four at the end of the season'.

And despite Real apparently being ready to submit an £87million bid after the World Cup, Chelsea will pull out all the stops in order to hang on to their main man.

A source at Stamford Bridge told Daily Mail UK that Chelsea's board wants Conte to quit the club this summer rather than forcing them to fire him. Last week against Tottenham, we were in control in the first half and then we lost the game, so this season isn't going well. Then, in front of goal we didn't score, so that's it, at the end of the game it's 1-1 and we are all sad.

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen says his first full season at Stamford Bridge has been "difficult".

"But we will play [to try qualify] for the Champions League, for sure".

The Belgian winger added, "We need to work together".

Hazard, however, is looking on the bright side by pointing out Chelsea won the league last season when freed of the burden of playing in the continent's elite competition.

Speaking to Chelsea FC's website, Hazard said: "I hope, for the Chelsea fans and ourselves, that we can achieve something".
