Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley was arrested early Sunday morning after he reportedly fell asleep in his auto while driving on the freeway.
Another Eagles off-season addition is in trouble with the law.
Police also reportedly found a gun in the vehicle. The arrest occurred at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, right by the team's NovaCare Complex facility.
According to the report, the 23-year-old was found passed out in the vehicle and subdued with a stun gun after he became combative.
The Eagles confirmed Worley's arrest but had not comment, saying they were still "gathering information".
Worley has only been with the Eagles for a month after being traded from Carolina.in exchange for wide receiver Torrey Smith.
In college, Worley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault over an incident involving a woman at a night club. He played in 31 games for the Panthers and posted a total of three interceptions and 19 passes defensed.
Worley was acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Panthers back in March.
