Super Smash Bros confirmed for Nintendo Switch with moody announcement teaser

Sakurai reiterated that a title for Super Smash Bros. on Switch is still in the works, but confirmed he's been working on it in secret and is looking forward to releasing more information soon. First off, it is already reveling new characters, including the Inklings from Splatoon, and Breath of the Wild Link, as opposed to the usual Twilight Princess Link. Switch, and is it an enhanced port or an entirely new game? The game was a huge hit a year ago when it was exclusively released for the PS4. While that's great for fans of the game, it's also good news for developers and fans of other games built using the same GameMaker Studio 2 platform.

Super Smash Bros.is a crossover fighting game franchise where players try to muscle each other off the screen. Fans have been blowing up the internet since the reveal, and who can blame them? The most interesting takeaway is that Marth, Wario, and Pit seem to be considered "core" Smash Bros. characters.
