The rain will start around 6:00pm but the heavy rain and possible thunderstorms won't happen until later in the evening. Rain could be a touch heavier with the midweek storm, but no flooding is expected.
Temperatures will warm up nicely Sunday through much of next week. Highs for the day could reach the upper 40s, according to New Jersey Weather & Climate Network.
Round 2 of showers and storms looks to arrive late Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening and linger into Monday morning as a shortwave low moves off the Texas coast and right over Acadiana. This batch of rain will be lighter and will primarily impact areas south of Huntsville.
