'House of Cards' Debuts Teaser for Final, Kevin Spacey-Less Season

Spacey, who played the scheming politician Frank Underwood during the first five seasons, was forced off the show late a year ago amid a cascade of sexual harassment allegations.

House Of Cards have today released the first teaser for its final season, and it has already got nearly everybody talking. Early morning bustle of the most powerful office of the free world eventually leads the viewers into the Oval and we see Claire Underwood. She stands up confidently with her hands planted firmly on the desk and declares: "We're just getting started".

It's revealed to be Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), who is now the President of the United States. Spacey was sacked from the series and production on season 6 was briefly shut down.

This season will be dark, political, twisted, and fascinating - it's everything that you could want from House of Cards.

The sixth season of "House of Cards" is expected in the fall.

Netflix's popular show House of Cards is returning with its final season.

Some applauded Wright's move to the top job. Spacey, who played president Frank Underwood, was ultimately fired and producers announced that the drama would be reworked to revolve around Wright's Claire.

House Of Cards also stars Michael Kelly and Joel Kinnaman with Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear joining the cast.

There's no official release date yet, but the trailer promises the show will drop in the U.S. fall, so there's still some time to wait.

The final 13 episodes of the show are set to premiere on Netflix in the autumn.
