The affordable Redmi Note 5 offers a prominent visual update over the Redmi Note 4.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. Out of the box, it runs on MIUI 9 that's still based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The power adapter it ships with has been designed for India, It measures 158.5x75.45x8.05mm and weighs 180 grams. Like the name suggests, the Note 5 Pro is a superior version of the standard Note 5 - and indeed it is. With the new 18:9 aspect ratio and bezel-less design, the new model will likely feature a larger display panel in a body that is roughly the same as that of last year's model. The dual rear camera setup is accompanied by an LED flash module. The front camera also comes with the inclusion of an LED flashlight in order to deliver better low-light selfie shots. Both front and rear cameras offer Portrait mode Bokeh effects. However, the Hybrid solution for the SD-Card and Sim seems like its going nowhere with this one. A 4000mAh battery backs the smartphone.
