As new prepaid plans are launched every other day, it's easier to get confused. The new pack is available for Vodafone subscribers in Kerala and it comes loaded with some interesting features. Recently, Idea revised the its existing postpaid plans. The new ₹158 plan offers unlimited voice calls and 1GB of 4G/3G data per day with a validity of 28 days. This plan is a mini plan of Idea. The voice calls through the pack are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week, identical to other "unlimited" packs. 100SMS/Day Local and National are also bundled with this prepaid recharge plan.
Vodafone has other plans with unlimited calling benefits, but they're all priced above Rs 300. 100 local and national free SMSes are also bundled with this plan-according to Idea's website. The telco has brought the new pack days after launching the Rs. 93 pack that offers unlimited voice calling benefits alongside 1GB of data for 10 days. However, the pack only includes a mere 1GB of data for the total period of 28 days. Reliance Jio Plan 98 offers maximum data among the three.
Initially, Reliance Jio was the sole provider of unlimited data and calls anywhere in India for really low tariffs. The speed of the data reduces after 2GB usage.
This updated 149 and 109 plan is valid for the Himachal Pradesh circle.
If you're looking for month-long validity, Airtel offers unlimited local + STD calls and 1GB/day 4G/3G data for 28 days at Rs 169.
"Today's comment of COAI on the latest telecommunication tariff order clearly shows that COAI, controlled by the incumbent dominant operators who have significant market power, is continuing its malicious, misleading and derogatory campaign against the regulator and the fair regulatory process, over the previous year and a half", a Jio spokesperson said.
