Super Bowl selfie kid gets another surprise from Justin Timberlake

Selfie Kid was shocked when the "Mirrors" singer-songwriter said his name as The Ellen DeGeneres Show audience roared with delight. "So it just shut off, and that's why all the memes formed".

"Thank you so much, oh my God", he gushed.

"I pushed through-I was elbowing people", said.

DeGeneres revealed to the MA native he had a surprise guest on the phone that wanted to speak to him.

The "Filthy" star also mentioned to DeGeneres that he sent her a special signal during the performance, "You told me to rub my belly in a sexual way, which is counterintuitive to me, but I feel like i worked it in there".

"My dad told me two weeks before and I just started crying", he told host Ellen Degeneres.

As soon as Ryan figured out he was about to talk Justin Timberlake, his eyes welled up. "The hands-down victor of Super Bowl halftime was the teen the internet immediately dubbed 'selfie kid, ' who somehow managed to steal some of the spotlight away from Justin Timberlake", wrote The Guardian.

Timberlake then invited McKenna and his family to come meet him backstage during his tour stop in Boston, which made McKenna tear up.

The child also said that he had no idea that Timberlake was going into the crowd during the show but when it happened, he jumped at the opportunity to get close to him. The NFL gave the young fan and his family VIP tickets to a Patriots home game next season and four pre-game field passes.

So not only did he get backstage passes to meet Timberlake, but the National Football League gave him a VIP experience to a Patriots home game next season, four tickets to a game, and four pre-game field passes.
