This is EA's annual special E3 event and during this event, the next Battlefield game, codenamed Battlefield 2018, will be playable.
EA has announced their plans for EA Play 2018 today. We've previously reported that they gone live with the when and where this year's events will take place, but we couldn't help but to be curious as to what kind of games they will have available.
EA Play is free to the public with tickets going live later this spring.
EA Play 2018 will take place at the same location as previous year, the Hollywood Palladium, From June 9-11, 2018. The Hollywood Palladium will play host to the three day happenings. Instead, fans will "get an inside look" at the game.
As always, EA will livestream this event, meaning that those that can not attend it will be able to at least watch it online. While it's unlikely to sidestep it entirely, previous years has shown that being a big part of a console conference isn't the be-all and end-all anymore. According to the publisher, it's anticipated action game Anthem was pushed to Q1 2019 in order to accommodate the latest iteration in the series.
Regardless of the reasoning, Anthem is going to be a crucial pillar for EA, and perhaps much more so for Bioware.
"It's all about giving you early access to our games, listening to your feedback, and most importantly, having fun with some of the biggest games in the world", EA continued.
We'll soon hear far more on this and other upcoming PC games.
