Tottenham Hotspur make enquiry to sign Lucas Moura in cut price deal

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly unwilling to do business with Manchester United over the services of winger Lucas Moura for anything less than £35.5m.

What started as a genuinely interesting story at the beginning of the week is beginning to lose credibility as the days go on - the IB times say that reports emanating from Brazil indicate that Lucas is not on his way to United at all.

Nantes are also believed to be interested in the winger's services.

Manchester United have been linked with Brazilian global and PSG star Lucas Moura since the start of the winter transfer window.

Harry Kane has been the only consistent performer for Tottenham, who were one of the most unsafe sides in England last season. Lucas Moura would fit the bill straight away to enhance their options on the right side.

Once considered to be one of the most promising talents in world football, Lucas has struggled to get opportunities and regular playing time in a team consisting of the likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria and Julian Draxler.

This season he has made only five appearances in Ligue 1, all as a substitute, scoring once and providing one assist.

Moura wants PSG to lower their demands for him. He is a fast, tricky player who could fit into any big Premier League side given his talents. The French giants want 40 million euros for the Brazil worldwide, but Manchester United are believed to be ready to offer half that.

Le 10 Sport report Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has not intention of buying Lucas this January, but has told PSG that if they are considering a loan move, then Spurs may formalise an offer.
