Australia and India, who have won the title three times each, were among the teams scheduled to play yesterday after having won their earlier warm-up games in preparation for the tournament proper, which gets underway tomorrow.

India, the 2017 Blind T20 World Cup champions, scored their runs very quickly in reply and reached their target of 283 with five overs to spare. As the Indian team refused to travel to Pakistan, their matches are hosted in the UAE.

The final of the tournament will be held on January 19 in Sharjah.
