Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition release date revealed

The support for Final Fantasy 15 shows no signs of slowing down, as Square Enix has said that more story content is coming to the game in 2018.

Square Enix hasn't confirmed the official Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition release date as yet but this App Store listing mentions that the game is going to be released on February 9th for iOS devices.

A decade after its unveiling, Final Fantasy XV finally launched on PS4 and Xbox One at the end of 2016. The console version of Final Fantasy XV has been a hit, selling over 7 million copies worldwide.

According to the iOS App Store listing for the game, Pocket Edition is launching on February 9th, which is the tail end of next week.

As a symbol of this promised peace, Noctis, crown prince of Lucis, is to Wednesday the Lady Lunafreya of Tenebrae. The Android version should also be out the same day.

Final Fantasy XV has been very well received by PC and console gamers. The game also appeared on Google Play back in August previous year, and while the release date isn't mentioned there, you can pre-register to find out when it arrives. The game's story will be told across 10 chapters, with the first one being free while the others will have to be paid for.

On iOS, Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition will work with the iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, fifth-generation iPad, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4, and newer models running iOS 11.1 or later.

On Android, you'll need to be running Android 5.0 or later on a device with at least a 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 5GB of free space.
